This password generator uses the Web Crypto API for cryptographically secure random number generation (with rejection sampling — no modulo bias). Passwords are generated entirely in your browser and never sent to any server. In random mode, every character class you enable is guaranteed to appear at least once. The strength meter shows the true entropy of your settings in bits. Passphrase mode draws words from the EFF Large Wordlist (7,776 words, CC-BY 3.0) — about 12.9 bits of entropy per word. Pronounceable mode generates easy-to-type passwords. Scan the QR code to move a password to your phone — the code itself is also generated on your device, so the password never leaves your browser.
